Take your lunch break. Whether
you work for yourself or for someone else, when you fail to take
your lunch break, you are working at least 5 hours more each week
than you need to. It may not seem all that much, but over
the course of a year, it’s the equivalent of working an extra
month and a half. Over the course of 10 years, it’s
the equivalent of working an extra year.
When you routinely miss out on a break at midday, you lose a precious opportunity to restore your mind,
your body and your spirit.
If
your business life requires you to regularly have lunch with clients
or other associates, don’t delude yourself into thinking that
because you are having lunch in these situations that you are taking
a break. You are still working and you need a break from that
work to help you stay focused and productive.
Schedule
a break for yourself. Taking even 15 minutes for a walk or
a stretch can make a big difference in what you are able to accomplish
during the rest of the day.
"You'll never regret doing something
special for yourself. Call us to see how we can help you do that.",
