Here are some candle hints:

• Replace long matches with a length of raw spaghetti when lighting a deep candle or fireplace. The spaghetti, when lit, will burn slowly and evenly.

• Keep spare candles in the refrigerator or freezer, they will burn slowly and evenly when cold.

• Candle wax can be removed by freezing the holders until the wax is easily chipped off.

• Candle wax on the carpet or fabric? Place a folded paper towel over the hardened wax and use a warm iron on the paper towel, gently lift and the wax will come with it!!
